What if I cannot afford to pay the fees?

Pre-Apprenticeship Training Institute offers students financial assistance during their courses. Student loans and assistance grants are available. Students may also apply for scholarships available through industry partners.

Do I need to buy tools when I go to work?
|
|
No, all students are provided with industry appropriate tools to be used during the in-class training as well as arrival at work upon completion of the training.
|

When can I register?
|
|
Registration for each intake will be taken on a first come first served basis. Registration usually begins 6 weeks prior to the beginning of class. Some courses fill up quickly, therefore early registration is recommended.

What does the tuition cost cover?
|
|
The cost of the tuition covers the following:
1. Industry standard safety gears (head to toe).
2. Lab materials.
3. Industry related tools.
4. Six safety certifications.
5. Six months YASC membership for qualifying candidates.

I do not have my OSSD. Can you help me obtain my diploma?
|
|
Yes, students who require optional credits will be able to earn credits towards their OSSD through our sister school the Don Valley Academy.
